How it is made.
Confirm what you need
You send your photos, the rough order of the trip, and the three moments you most want to keep.
Photos chosen by hand, story re-edited
A volume usually uses about thirty photos chosen by hand from several hundred originals.
This step takes most of the working time, and it is the one part of the job no template can do.
First draft
Within 3 working days once materials are complete, the brief is confirmed and the deposit is received.
One round of revisions
Send all your comments together in one round.
Delivery
Once final, we send the two PDFs first; the print edition ships by SF Express after a physical quality check. A delivery file checklist is included.
Only after the trip ends can the photos become something you page through again and again.
Privacy.
Photos are used only for the commissioned work;
EXIF data is removed, and faces, addresses and visible text are checked page by page.
Print editions are printed by a third-party print supplier; files are used for printing only.
Finished books are delivered privately by default; any public display needs your written approval, page by page.

- The print edition ships after a physical quality check and arrives within 7 to 10 working days of final approval; if it fails the check and needs reprinting, we will tell you the new date.
- The print edition is saddle-stitched, 32 pages in total.
- Half the fee as a deposit to start, the balance before delivery (FPS; a PDF receipt is issued after payment).
- Extra revision rounds are HK$280 each.
- Production faults in the finished book (typos, missing images, layout errors) are fixed free of charge.
- This plan is a fixed 32-page format. Multiple trips, several destinations or longer books are quoted separately.
- Re-layout in a different style, or a rush job: quoted item by item and confirmed in writing before work starts.
- We make one book at a time; slots follow booking order.
- If you arrange printing yourself, results vary by printer; ask the printer for a proof before printing.
- The last page carries a one-line maker's credit in Chinese, 本冊由 Strategitect 編製 (“Compiled by Strategitect”).

How is this different from a photobook or album app?
They arrange photos; we re-edit the story: theme, chapters, high point and ending, with every photo chosen by hand.
What do I need to provide?
Your original photos (a cloud link is fine), the rough order of the trip, and the three moments you most want to keep.
How is privacy handled?
Photos are used only for the commissioned work; EXIF data is removed, and faces, addresses and visible text are checked page by page. Delivery is private by default.
How do I choose among the three styles?
Look at the sample books first; if unsure, choose Classic Keepsake (our default recommendation). Each style has a full sample book.
How long does it take?

The print edition is delivered by SF Express after a physical quality check. If you only need digital files, choose the digital edition. You can also print it yourself from the print-ready PDF; results vary by printer, so ask the printer for a proof first.
What if I have a lot of photos, or very few?
Either is fine. A volume usually uses about thirty photos chosen by hand from several hundred; if the material cannot carry a story, we suggest what to leave out first rather than fill pages with unrelated content.
Will the book carry your logo?
No watermark and no copyright notice in the finished book; only a one-line maker's credit in Chinese on the last page, 本冊由 Strategitect 編製 (“Compiled by Strategitect”), as standard.
