Strategitect Limited · How we work

How we work,
all written here.

How quotes are calculated.
The reason behind every design decision.
Checked item by item.

Before work starts, we agree the scope.

Every plan has a scope map.
When quoting, we go through each number with you: what is included, what is not.
What you sign is a clearly written scope.

Design direction
Set for your industry and brand tone, not taken from an off-the-shelf template.
Written up on one page before work starts as a style direction sheet, and built only after you approve it.
Page structure
Home, Services, Contact (Starter 3 pages).
Copy editing
You supply the content; we organise, lay out and polish it.
Enquiry flow ×1
An enquiry form or a WhatsApp button, one of the two.
Footer: contact details.
Mobile-first design and basic SEO apply site-wide, not to a single area.

The design direction, written on one page first.

First the purpose and the audience, then what the site must never become, and only then colours and type.
Work starts only after you approve this page.

Style direction sheet · excerpt (demo site: Everwell Physiotherapy Centre)Every sheet covers all eight items
Purpose
Visitors on a phone know from the first screen what is treated, where, and how to book.
Audience and context
People with neck, shoulder or back pain, searching on their phone for treatment nearby; they decide in seconds whether to stay.
Must never become
✕ A “Welcome to our website” self-introduction.
✕ Five buttons of equal size.
✕ Pushing bookings with exaggerated claims about results.
Mood
Professional, clear, reassuring.
Push or pull
Pull. Build reassurance first; keep only one main action: book on WhatsApp.
Colour roles
Primary blue: only for the booking button and key lines.
Secondary warm grey: section backgrounds and secondary text.
Accent green: only for “available” and booking confirmation, always with a text label.
Type
One Chinese sans-serif family; hierarchy through weight and size.
Basis
Context of use, business goal.
Every style direction sheet covers these eight items, so you can see where each design choice comes from.
This is a demonstration sample.

Five steps, from first conversation to handover.

Each step has a clear finish line.

1The first screen does not say what this is
Problem: the first-screen heading reads “Welcome to our centre's website”. Visitors cannot tell at a glance what this is, where it is, or what to do next.
Cause: if the first five seconds do not answer “what is this”, visitors leave.
Fix: rewrite the heading as one sentence stating the service, the location and the next step.
Basis: context of use. Most visitors arrive from a phone search and decide in seconds whether to stay, so the first screen has to stand on its own.
2Fees shown as “Enquire for details”
Problem: every service card lists its fee as “Enquire for details”, so visitors must spend effort contacting you before they know the budget.
Cause: hidden prices drive away exactly the visitors who are comparing seriously.
Fix: switch to clearly priced fee cards listing the first assessment, follow-ups and treatment prices.
Basis: business goal. This site exists to get bookings, not to collect enquiries; unclear pricing puts a barrier in front of the most motivated visitors.
3Time slots shown by colour alone
Problem: today's slots appear only as red and green dots, which people with colour vision deficiency cannot tell apart.
Cause: colour cannot be the only cue.
Fix: add the text labels “Available / Full” alongside the colour.
Basis: system convention. Accessibility principles require information to be perceivable without relying on a single sense.
Every fix in the report states its basis: business goal, context of use, users' existing habits, system convention or brand consistency.
Not “we think it looks better this way”.
